High school lacrosse is a multi-school club at Everett High School.  The sport of lacrosse has been played at Everett since 2011 and is comprised of students from Everett, Jackson, Cascade and Archbishop Murphy High Schools.  The program is located in Everett, Wash., 45 minutes north of Seattle.

Snohomish-Glacier Peak

SNOHOMISH – GLACIER PEAK HIGH SCHOOLS

High school lacrosse is a multi-school club at Snohomish- Glacier Peak High Schools.  The sport of lacrosse has been played at Snohomish-Glacier Peak since 2002 for boys and 2004 for girls, and is comprised of students from Snohomish and Glacier Peak High Schools.  Operated by the Snohomish Lacrosse Club, the Snohomish-Glacier Peak boys won the 2012 boys Division II Washington Lacrosse State Championship.  The program is located in Snohomish, Wash., 60 minutes northeast of Seattle.

Student-Athletes to Watch in 2014

Boys: Snohomish High School senior defender Davyd Powell, an All-State Third Team selection in 2013 and Division II All-Conference selection in 2012, has committed to play NCAA Division I lacrosse at Canisius… Cedar Park Christian senior attack Gabe Girgus has committed to play NCAA Division II lacrosse at Mount Olive College… Glacier Peak High School senior midfielder and football player Jake Berg has committed to play NAIA lacrosse at Missouri Valley College… Snohomish-Glacier Peak is loaded with multi-sport talent with 18 student-athletes playing more than one sport.  Among them are 15 football players including three-sport senior Noah Palmaffy (football, wrestling, lacrosse) and juniors Ian Jensen (football, wrestling, lacrosse) along with  Miles Russon (football, wrestling, lacrosse).  Seniors Blake Stefanson, Logan Holleman and Scotty Newsom along with junior Drew Hirschi also play football and lacrosse.  The group helped Glacier Peak advance to this fall’s WIAA 3A state tournament falling to eventual Gridiron Classic state champion Bellevue 48-6 in the opening round.

Girls:  Glacier Peak High School senior attack Kayla Petz, 2014 Pre-Season All-State and 2013 All-State Second Team and All-Conference selections… Glacier Peak High School senior Hanna Dalrymple, a 2014 Pre-Season All-State selection, has  committed to play NCAA D1 lacrosse at St. Mary’s… Snohomish High School senior defender, Hailey Nyquist, 2014 Pre-Season All-State and 2013 All-State Second Team and All-Conference selections and standout cross country runner.

Student-Athletes to Watch in 2014

Boys:  Junior attackman Dillion Bull, who plays both tennis and lacrosse, led scoring in 2013 with 21 points (17g, 4a).  He also grabbed 24 ground balls…  Bull is among 14  student-athletes that play multiple sports.  Leading the way are three-sport standouts sophomore Tully Kennedy (football, wrestling, lacrosse) and freshman Jakob Vandeventer (football, basketball, lacrosse).  Other crossovers playing both football and lacrosse are senior Dillon Edwards, junior Cory Brown, sophomores Zach Ervin, Austin Mead, Colby Reitz, Riley Sachs and Grant Soules along with freshmen Tate Monheiser and Sam Robbins.  Juniors Corey Rios and freshman Johnny Adams play tennis and lacrosse.
