Boys: Sophomore attackman Siam Owen, a 2014 Pre-Season All-Conference Second Team selection was third in scoring as a freshman with 38 points (19g, 19a) and had 18 ground balls while playing with Garfield last season… Sophomore defender Will Dean helped O’Dea is a lineman on the Fighting Irish football squad. This fall he helped O’Dea advance to the semifinals of the WIAA 3A state tournament where it fell to state runner-up Eastside Catholic in the semifinals.

Boys: Junior midfielder Sam Kopf, is a 2014 Pre-Season All-Conference First Team selection, two-time All-Conference selection (2013, ’12) and football standout with 53 points (39g, 14a) and Division II leader in ground balls with 171 as a sophomore… Prep is loaded with football talent.  The roster includes 14 that helped the Panthers advance to the opening round of the WIAA 3A state tournament this fall.  Among them are seniors Daniel Bryan, Clayton Comiskey and Max Nelson, juniors Kopf, Jamie Clarke, Atticus Harmon, Connor Gossman, Jack Pholmann and Taariq Vanegas along with sophomores Cullen Carter, Jackson McCune, Joe Nelson and Philip Vien.

Girls:  Junior midfielder Gretta Richardson, a 2013 All-Conference selection finished her sophomore season third among Panthers in total scoring with 25 points (20g, 5a) along with 23 ground balls and 43 draw controls.  The 2013 Panthers were led in scoring by senior attack Annie Gillis with 32 points (31g, 1a).

WestSeattleHigh school lacrosse is a multi-school club at West Seattle High School representing student-athletes from schools throughout West Seattle, Tukwila and Burien.  Originally “Highline High School” where the sport has been played since 2005 for boys and 2012 for girls, the program shifted in 2014 to West Seattle and is now comprised of students from West Seattle, Highline, Mt. Girls:  Federal Way High School senior center Gabriela Rojas-Luna, a two-year captain on the JV squad, set the all-time JV season scoring in 2013 with 68 points (56g, 12a) and also had  54 draw controls and 66 ground balls… Highline High School senior Rachael Swanstrom was the club’s leading defender grabbing 41 ground balls… West Seattle High School senior attack Martha Girma delivered 20 goals along with 17 ground balls and 8 draw controls.
