Girls:  Senior attack Denise Julio, a 2013 All-Conference selection, led all underclassmen in scoring with 53 points (46g, 7a).  She also grabbed 35 ground balls, had 59 draw controls and 14 caused turnovers.

Auburn Riverside

AUBURN RIVERSIDE HIGH SCHOOL

Lacrosse is a multi-school club at Auburn Riverside High School.  The sport of lacrosse has been played at Auburn Riverside since 2005  (boys) and 2011 (girls) and is comprised of students from Auburn Riverside High School and the Auburn, Lake Tapps and Enumclaw communities.  The program is run through the Lake Tapps Lacrosse Club and is located in Auburn, Wash., just a short drive east of Tacoma.

Boys:  Senior attack Michael Lucchesi a two-time All-State selection (2013, ’12) who has committed to play NCAA D2 lacrosse for the University of Tampa… Senior midfielder Joey Lucchesi, a two-time All-State selection (2013, ’12), committed to play NCAA D2 lacrosse for the University of Tampa, both play football at Auburn Riverside… Bonney Lake High School senior midfielder Gordon Nelson, who has committed to play NCAA D2 lacrosse at Missouri’s Lindenwood University… Graham-Kapowsin High School senior defender Evan Wells and center/middle linebaker in football helped his school advance to this fall’s opening round of the WIAA 4A state football gridiron tournament… Senior Keenan Fagan and sophomore Justin Tidwell, both midfielders, helped White River High School’s football squad advance to this fall’s quarterfinals of the WIAA 2A state tournament where they dropped a 45-7 decision to state runner-up Tumwater.

Girls:  White River High School sophomore Kari Barber, a 2013 All-Conference selection as a freshman, lead in scoring with 23 points (17g, 6a).  She also had 13 ground balls and 3 caused turnovers.
