Rebecca Long (Lakeside ’13) UNIVERSITY PLACE, Wash. —  Freshman attacker Rebecca Long (Lakeside ’13) scored two goals as Pomona-Pitzer powered to an 18-8 NCAA Div. III women’s road lacrosse win over Puget Sound on Sunday morning in University Place. Loggers frosh attacker Maddie Soukup (Ballard HS ’13) had two goals for UPS. Cole Johnson (Bellevue HS ’13) EASTON, Pa. – Rookie attackman Cole Johnson (Bellevue HS ’13) netted a single goal as Army opened Patriot League play on Saturday with an 8-6 NCAA Div. I men’s lacrosse win over Lafayette in Easton, Pa. The win extended the Black Knights win-streak to three games and overall record over Lafayett to 33-0 all time. In 2014, 113 Washington state high school graduates attending 56 colleges and universities are actively playing NCAA or NAIA lacrosse.   Historically, over 250 student-athletes from high schools throughout Washington state have gone on to play men’s and women’s collegiate lacrosse at the NCAA Div. I, Div. II, Div.
