Comcast to broadcast four Washington prep lacrosse games in 2012

Washington state lacrosse hall of famer and US Lacrosse board member Tony Olney returns in 2012 to handle color commentator duties for Washington state prep lacrosse broadcasts.

SEATTLE – The Washington state chapter of US Lacrosse has reached an agreement with Comcast On Demand to broadcast four high school lacrosse games during the 2012 season.

Regular season boys games include Issaquah High School at Bellevue High School on Friday, March 30 and Bellarmine Prep at Eastside Catholic on Wednesday, April 18. Girls games include Ballard High School at Seattle Prep on Tuesday, April 24 and Lakeside at Snohomish on Tuesday, May 1.

The broadcast schedule of four boys games is available exclusively to Comcast customers at no cost.

The one-year agreement, reached with Gametapes LLC, a Seattle-based sports television production company, will provide for the availability of local games on Comcast On Demand within 48 hours of the conclusion of each of the games.
